PASTD.org has joined forces with HUMAN, “The Healthy Young Bodies and Minds Initiative.” HUMAN inspires minority youth to lead healthy lives by being engaged in the areas of science, math, reading, and the arts, and building character and confidence to be the change they want to see in the world.

In Fall 2011, PASTD.org will sponsor 10 youth from the Durham community on a Plantation Tour Trip to Charleston, SC. South Carolina's plantations transport visitors back to a time where slaves worked the land to support the lavish lifestyles of their owners. We are looking for sponsors.

To sponsor a youth, please send donations to PASTD, 1775 W. Williams St. #188, Apex, NC, 27523. All donations are tax-deductible. Any donation accepted. All donations will be used to support the Plantation Tour.

PASTD's other activities have included outreach on college campuses, handing out information at community events, and flyering and distributing condoms at nightclubs.
